Streifenjunko has been making music together since 2005, and throughout these years Espen Reinertsen (saxophone) and Eivind Lønning (trumpet) have worked closely together to present truly unique and original compositions on concert series and festivals
around the world. They have also released three albums, in both acoustic and electro-acoustic form. Rumor has it that at Sound of Stockholm, the duo will return to the acoustic universe where it all began.
Eivind and Espen also play together in a number of other constellations, including the Christian Wallumrød Ensemble, Trondheim Jazz Orchestra, and the newly formed Cimota.
Streifenjunko har laget musikk sammen siden 2005, og gjennom alle disse årene har Espen Reinertsen (saksofon) og Eivind Lønning (trompet) jobbet tett sammen for å presentere et helt unikt og originalt materiale på konsertserier og festivaler rundt om i
verden. De har også utgitt 3 plater, både i akustisk og elektro-akustisk drakt. Ryktene sier at duoen på Sound of Stockholm returnerer til det akustiske universet der alt startet.
Eivind og Espen spiller også sammen i en rekke andre konstellasjoner, blant annet i Christian Wallumrød Ensemble, Trondheim Jazzorkester og nystartede Cimota.
